retrogoober #1 Posted June 30, 2018 The paddle controller is SO iconic, so different and fun a gaming experience, and so UNDER supported after ALL these years Why are there not good Homebrews yet? SO many design options, Gyrus and Tempest variants come to mind, ARKANOID! GRAVITY centered games AND why not more paddle support for newer games, was playing LEM and wondering this (LOVE that homebrew) *RANT* Lee

+Karl G #6 Posted June 30, 2018 As a player, I enjoy paddle games. As a developer, I find them tedious to deal with.
Video #7 Posted June 30, 2018 I was going to say marble craze. Love it. But, before to much is put into making paddle games, I'd say some effort needs to be put into making new paddles. Yes, to some extent they can be cleaned, but their all old now and increasingly less reliable as time goes on.
fiddlepaddle #8 Posted June 30, 2018 I've had to make some minor repairs a couple of times, and occasional cleaning, but my several sets of paddles all still work great.

I recently purchased a pair and I like them a lot. The new pots are rated for lifetime use, so are essentially what you are asking for here.

Can't wait to see what you come up with. *RANT* Point well made thank you, dont mean to be disrespectful of programmers, sincere apologies if I offended, especially someone who has brought us SO many amazing creations, thank you, glad you spoke up about difficulty of programming paddle games, had no idea, my post wasnt meant critical, what is it (for us non-code peeps) that makes it more difficult? ALSO agree with the inclusion of more driving controller games I still hold to my desire for more paddle game innovations though:) Edited June 30, 2018 by retrogoober
Albert #15 Posted June 30, 2018 I was going to buy Super Circus Atariage but the listing on AA said it was not available. You can buy this one, but you need to supply a POKEY, either a bare chip or a Ballblazer cartridge. ..Al
