xxl
due to family affairs of one of the co-authors, the release is delayed ... but it will be finalized ? 4
xxl
can't edit posts? I noticed that I didn't actually write essential stuff: 35 levels (7 planets), 9 music themes - including SID (POKEY MAX users)
xxl
Another musician for AY / YM joined the band - after inserting the SONari card you will be able to choose the music for YM2149 / AY-3-8910
xxl
A lot of new content is coming to the game. The team has been joined by: POKEY Music: @Poison GFX: @TIX sample tiles in the attachment ... ? Bravo gentlemen. ggn
The new graphics are certainly an improvement IMO, the graphics that the released version has make it oftentimes very difficult to distinguish foreground tiles (i.e. active) from background ones. Well done to @TIX and also to @xxl for persisting in improving this nice game :). Edited March 13, 2021 by ggn
Schnurrikowski
Are the colors final?
xxl
no. Color schemes are different for each planet (7 planets) and TIX is responsible for that.
emkay
The graphics by TIX were really a benefit. But I wonder about the sound. The AY/YM board could sound like real music, but people prefer that low sounding. It's okay, but... Why has POKEY always to sound like a crimped scrotum? Why no low sounding tune for Pokey? Would be cool to support SONari in emulation. Is documentation in English available? Mostly how it is mapped...

That info should do it for now. We may ask for a demo app later on Thanks!
xxl
the demonstration with the player (and the source code) is ready and just waiting for the editor's publication (yes, there is a music editor with SONari support) ... it was supposed to be yesterday but there is a delay. a big surprise is coming ? danwinslow
I'm fascinated with how much focus you guys put on the sound tracks for things. I mostly find them annoying, especially if they play constantly throughout the game. That's just me, though.
