Haunted House: The secret object

So there's this 'easter egg' where you drop the urn in haunted house right at the entrance, light a match, and move down/right grabbing the urn again and ending the game. This will occasionally result in a 'wand' or 'staff' appearing next to your character when the game ends.

 

Todd Rodgers has indicated that it may be possible to trigger this object appearing in the actual game. I've never heard of anyone doing it, has anyone here? and if so... does it do anything? Any of you hacker types ever looked into this?

Always was curious what that obscure 'easter egg' was all about.

I remember when you got 2 particular pieces together of the urn, it looked like a Four Player icon. 4P.
