+sixersfan105 #2 Posted July 21, 2018 Willing to pay any reasonable price for one!! Someone help me out!!! Looks like Lance over at Video61 sells new joysticks for $12.95. I'd double-check with him to ensure that the one you'd be buying is the gray CX-40 that matches your XEGS, but it's on the XE page of his site, so it should be, at least in theory. Here's the link to it: http://members.tcq.net/video61/compnew.html Let me know what you find out if you reach out to him, as I have some interest in a second gray CX-40. Smiley #3 Posted July 22, 2018 I emailed him and his response was that he didnt have any for sale and the only way I could get one was if I bought an xegs cib
+sixersfan105 #4 Posted July 22, 2018 Ah gotcha. Oh well. Was worth a shot. It certainly doesn't help that Atari never sold them separately from the XEGS!
Smiley #5 Posted July 22, 2018 Yeah I appreciate the help though
+sixersfan105 #6 Posted July 23, 2018 Looks like that one on eBay has been slashed to $45. Trending in the right direction but still higher than they've gone for over the past few months.
+sixersfan105 #7 Posted July 24, 2018 That eBay seller dropped his price to $39.99... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F173429087208
+sixersfan105 #8 Posted July 28, 2018 Might be worth shooting Bruce an email at myatari.com. masschamber #11 Posted August 1, 2018 I was looking through my controller pile and There was what i thought was the controller you sought... turns out it was the commodore 64 controller that looks like an atari controller
BassGuitari #12 Posted August 1, 2018 At those prices, just get a regular black one and spraypaint it. And $300 for an XEGS? Eff that noise.
+sixersfan105 #13 Posted August 2, 2018 How much does he charge for a CIB XEGS? There's a CIB on LetGo outta LA for $220.
Smiley #14 Posted August 3, 2018 Lowest I’ve seen an xegs in box was locally here in Maryland on Mercari; guy was only asking 50. Wish I had grabbed it
+sixersfan105 #15 Posted August 3, 2018 Lowest Ive seen an xegs in box was locally here in Maryland on Mercari; guy was only asking 50. Wish I had grabbed it $50?! Can't believe you didn't snag it!
Smiley #16 Posted August 3, 2018 And I’m trying to convince my friend in Florida, who has an extra xegs joystick, to sell me his yo no avsil
Smiley #17 Posted August 3, 2018 I’ve also seen local people selling green n64s for dirt cheap; it’s a great little app and you can find decent prices if you’re patient
+sixersfan105 #18 Posted August 3, 2018 He's got an extra...he's your friend...and he won't sell it to you? Sounds like he should be your friend no longer
+sixersfan105 #19 Posted August 3, 2018 Yeah, I recently downloaded OfferUp, LetGo and Mercari just in case anything catches my eye. I think LetGo is the worst in terms of app functionality and polish. OfferUp has some sketchy people (not unlike Craigslist). Mercari seems to be the most polished but I think it's all shipped and no local pickup.
Smiley #20 Posted August 3, 2018 He's got an extra...he's your friend...and he won't sell it to you? Sounds like he should be your friend no longer Well in the past he’s sold me two uncommon 7800 games for cheap: planet smashers and basketbrawl; so it’s all good. He praises those xegs joysticks as one of the better ones he’s used
+sixersfan105 #21 Posted August 3, 2018 Fair enough. Isn't it the same as a black CX-40, just different color?

+sixersfan105 #25 Posted August 16, 2018 Now I just need to locate an Atari light gun and maybe a manual for the Atari xegs and Im good There's a pretty reasonably priced manual on eBay right now: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323386599274 Another seller has the keyboard/basic manual, if you want that, too. Feel free to shoot me a PM about the light gun. I may be able to help you out.
