can t remember a game

Folks, what makes it worse is I can t remember the platform. It had to be either 2600,7800, or NES. It looked kinda like castle quest, but it seems like in the opening of the game you had to go right forever, then down. Somewhere in the game it had a really neat graphic of a sword surrounded by a brick (I think) wall. I think the graphics where too good to be 2600, but they where not great other than a few screens. It all took place in a castle, at least as far as I got it did. It seems like there might have been a graphic with a sleeping dragon or something. There may have been a section of the game where you where like on ladders surrounded by fire. It was the type of game that you could go from screen to screen like Zelda. I don t remember any text in the game, nor do I remember ever a spot where your character interacted with another character.

I m not certain how you pulled that rabbit out of a hat when I gave a completely bogus description, but yeppers, thats it. Now I can watch a walkthrough and die happy. lol

And yes, I have also watched the walkthroughs on youtube.

I spent hours wandering aimlessly through that one many years ago. It haunted me.

Me too! It has kind of an anti-climatic ending that I just watched. I would have been pissed back in the day had I beat it. lol

It took awhile, but I actually beat this back in the day. Lame ending for sure for such an epic, difficult game. Last boss was a total wuss too.
