Osgeld #1 Posted July 24, 2018 (edited) edit Ebay link https://www.ebay.com/itm/123276545872 Still kind of dialing in settings here but decided to try and make replacement foam dust covers for the 2600's switches made with craft foam and a CNC XY cutter - plotter machine I have 6 sets of black and I am trying different colors like orange ... which doesnt match the yellow of my light sixer but is about spot on for a later 6 switch or 4 switch model (and these samples are a little extra ratty on the edges cause of the different brand foam, but it doesnt show in the case and now I know) Thinking of doing other colors as well like a lime green for the telegames models or grey for the telegames and vader models, and of course if I can find a decently matching yellow for the older atari machines I will do that as well I dont know how much of a market there is for something like this but that is why I put interest check. There's a seller on ebay that hand punches these thing (which is what I have done in the past) and is asking 1.50$ + 3.00$ postage for a set of 6 I am thinking 4$ mailed for a set of 6 in the US or 4$ + postage international let me hear your thoughts Edited July 27, 2018 by Osgeld
ianoid #2 Posted July 24, 2018 I'd buy a few, like 3 sets of 6 in black and maybe one set of yellow to match the VCS paint stripe for a unit.

atari-dna #4 Posted July 24, 2018 I’d be in for a couple sets of original black colored ones. Is the density of the new foam similar to the old? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Osgeld #5 Posted July 24, 2018 Its similar but it is different its more like closed cell foam where the originals are more textured and they are about half millimeter thicker but dont drag I have used the same stuff in many machines without issue
+-^CrossBow^- #6 Posted July 24, 2018 I think the original foam is actually a neoprene similar to wetsuits that was cut out and used. Still I think the different colors are really cool idea! Wonder if Red would look good in a vader?

Osgeld #8 Posted July 24, 2018 (edited) Not yet let me elaborate I rather sell stuff here but as I know from experience with my rapid fire game pads that it almost turns into a second job keeping up with PM's and a spreadsheet and everything that goes along with it so I will probably set something up on ebay later this week Edited July 24, 2018 by Osgeld

sirlemonhead #10 Posted July 25, 2018 I need a set of these for my 2600 - international postage wouldn't likely be terribly expensive to somewhere like Ireland?

Osgeld #14 Posted July 28, 2018 yea they are also the hardest to cut for some odd reason which is why they look a little extra rough, though again you cant see it
