Atari2600Lives #3 Posted June 8, 2003 Adventure. It's not even close for me. But Kaboom and Pitfall "could be" a close second
sku_u #4 Posted June 8, 2003 For me it's a tie between Tapper, Pitfall II, Turmoil and #87/
King Atari #5 Posted June 8, 2003 Xenophobe, by far.

jetset #7 Posted June 8, 2003 I agree with you mrfood! Kaboom has always been my fave! Have you ever tried Crackpots? Same game in reverse but more intense. My arm is still killing me playing that one! I just won it in a lot off ebay and it arrived today. Great game.
Galaga_Freak #8 Posted June 8, 2003 Dragster - simple, but challenging. Replay value at it's finest. 4-player warlords is up there too.
Atari2600Lives #9 Posted June 8, 2003 Actually , Kaboom is a zen like experience. You only knbow what I am talking about if you have played it late into the night. Also Space invaders 2600 is the greatest arcade to console transaltion EVER. It actually improved on an original classic. Who can forget 2 players at the same time cut throat action? Space Invaders Atari 2600 is enough to own the system just by itself.

surfnmadness #11 Posted June 8, 2003 Adventure Nothing beats the original graphical one!
Video #12 Posted June 8, 2003 I'd have to say it's a tie between Pitfall II, and Enduro. I love those games. For two playered, I'd say Combat is my fave. And for new homebrews, I'd say Skeleton, it's the one I play the most now.
Thomas Jentzsch #13 Posted June 8, 2003 ... and #87/208 Bastard!
bigferret #14 Posted June 8, 2003 Depending on my mood it's either Pressure Cooker, QB or Jr Pac Man. I'm hoping to pick up Tapper soon though, so maybe one of these will get displaced.
AtariDude #15 Posted June 8, 2003 Adventure and Jr PacMan are my 2 all time favorites. Enduro is also fun although I am not very good at it.
DaveAtari #16 Posted June 8, 2003 Adventure. It's not even close for me. But Kaboom and Pitfall "could be" a close second I agree with this dude!
Zloch #17 Posted June 8, 2003 There are a lot of great games for the 2600 that it would be hard to pick just one favorite game. The games I've been playing lately are: Tapper Jr. Pac-Man Moon Patrol Jungle Hunt Stargate Yars Revenge Missile Command Space Invaders Sean
Mr.FoodMonster #18 Posted June 8, 2003 i might sound like an idiot but how do u play yars revenge? you take the sheild thingy down... then what? Gabriel: Thats my dads all-time fav. videogame. he dosnt like the Atari version as much as the arcade, because theres only 1 button and i dont have the trackball. King Atari: im ordering that from someone soon so my fav may be swayed, but i doubt it jetset516: yes i have played that (hahah crackpots get it?) but i still like kaboom better. isnt big birds egg drop the same as it as well? well concidering quite a few of you have very common games i even more so need to buy a lot of about 30 games on ebay. im getting a job soon so that shouldnt be to hard to do =P

NE146 #22 Posted June 8, 2003 i might sound like an idiot but how do u play yars revenge? you take the sheild thingy down... then what? When in doubt, read the manual! http://www.atariage.com/manual_thumbs.html...wareLabelID=603 My favorite 2600 game? Hard to say... it's changed so many times over the past 20 years. However at this point I'd still have to say 2600's Ms. Pacman still holds as one of the games that's endeared itself the most to me
sdstuff64 #23 Posted June 8, 2003 I would have to go with Spider Fighter,Kaboom,or Breakout.
