Alright! I won a 1050 disk drive for my future 600XL! Now all I have to do is get a SIO2PC cable, and I'll be able to enjoy sweet gaming goodness!

Actually a sio2pc cable replaces a 1050 entirely, allowing you to use your PC has a floppy/hard drive replacement.

 

If you want to use your 1050 drive to download data on original 5 1/4 disks then you need another type of cable called 1050-2-PC.

 

But if you're talking about having the complete package, sio2pc and a floppy drive to play original games, then great job and have fun
