If you wanted:

Why don't you post that you have this source to a group (us first, of course!) and see if you could collect funds to do a group buy. I have bought a "lot" before, and then parted it out to others (what the heck was I going to do with 22 Pole Positions? I paid pennies for each, sold them and kept one for a while). If you play your cards right, everyone gets their machines cheaper than they could otherwise, and the ones you want end up being really cheap or even free.

Just an idea. PM if you want details for it..

:)

Those prices sound pretty high. I have bought 8 or 9 warehouse deals over the the last couple years. I have never paid more than $100.00 per machine for bulk deals. Most of the time I get them in the $25-$75 each range with all the parts laying around thrown in. How many machines total? Try to get a price to clean the place out. If you need someone to go in on it with you let me know. I live across from you in south central Mississippi. A few of the deals took a year or more to get. They kept giving me $300-$800 per game prices and the stuff just sat there gathering more dust. They finally came down when they could not sell anything to anyone and they wanted the warehouse cleand out.

I just bought out a small warehouse a few weeks ago. Got the following:

Working Super Street Fighter II Turbo in big 25" cabinet, working Mechanized Attack 25" missing monitor, Working Pacman, 2 MS Pacmans 1 working, 2 working Chase HQ's, very nice Centipede, Mortal Kombat missing monitor, working Time Killers, working Tank, working Anti-Aircraft, several assorted cabinets missing assorted stuff, over 200 boards, lots of control panels, misc parts, and marquees. Total was $600.00 including truck rental/fuel. So that was like $40.00 a machine and all the parts free.

It's a fair bet...many sellers are willing to lower prices if it means a bigger sale ;)

don't buy a broken pole position! its next to impossible to find a working board..

The only games worth $600-$800 or more are the true classics, centipede, mspac, defender, galaga, robotron.

Most of the others like moon patrol are only worth $300. So don't pay too much.

Spy hunter is worth about $500. Make sure the peter gun music is working. the sound chip on the auxillary board fails.

Stuff like 1942, are not very desirable and you really should not have to psend more than $150.

hard drivn and race drivin never go for much money. You should only have to spend $300 or so to get one.

One last word of advice, buy what you want/like and let it go. If you try to get too many people involved, the deal is going to get messed up.
