Adding a week to our final round. Couple of games that we haven't played in awhile and a new one to take a look at from Team Pixelboy's Budget series. Hope everyone is having a great summer! Now have at it! We will be using regular scoring for River Raid and Super Cross Force, bonus scoring for Kaboom! (10 point increments. 100-90-80-70 from top score down for example).

Which difficulty are we doing for Kaboom : wide or narrow

Good point Brian! We''ll be using "Wide" buckets.

Kaboom [wide bucket]: 309 pts. The buckets moved very fast. I wonder if it's easier on actual hardware with roller controllers (might be less sensitive and easier to control).

Kaboom! 729. Real hardware using a Super Action controller. I tried paddle controllers and a Sear's Video Arcade ll controller as well with no luck. I was wondering about the Roller Controller myself. Implementing this score for a Beat the Moderator Bonus.

Kaboom! (wide) - 2,879

Played using the Roller Controller and an Adam.

Awesome control using the Roller Controller! I tried first with the standard controller and only had a best of 559. First time playing the CV version.

That's good stuff Ed! Control looks pretty smooth using a Roller Controller. I might break mine out.

It looks like just the right speed and the movements are so precise with that roller controller. Love it! I seem to keep hovering in the 550-point range and don't like how fast the buckets move as I play. Not saying I'd be on par with you in this game, but it's interesting what a huge difference a controller can make in some games. This is exactly the kind of game that should be made for motion controls with today's modern consoles.

Super Cross Force [Game 3]: 109,900 pts. Jeez... did horribly this time and needed many tries to get this score. Screenshot included for those who have no desire to watch through the whole video.

Super Cross Force 40,400 (Game 3). This is a good game after playing it awhile. Generally don't care for space type games, but this ones ok. Adding this one for a Beat the Moderator Bonus.
