There have been lots of people who have made efforts to make the definitive version of Pac-Man on the Atari 2600.

Vote which one you like the most!

NOTE: This is only counting regular Pac-Man. This isn't counting Ms. Pac-Man or Jr. Pac-Man.

For my vote, I chose Hack 'Em by Nukey Shay. I think it's easily the best version on the 2600. It accurately recreates the "turbo" function found on the arcade game. It also includes Hangly-Man (An arcade clone/bootleg) and Pac-Man Plus. Awesome!

Searching for Nukey's Pac Man actually brought me to Atari Age, but DINTAR816's version has no equal on the 2600. It's simply amazing.

Pac-Man 8K by DINTAR816 for sure, it's just the closest there is to the original arcade game on the 2600. All the homebrew Pac-Man games are great but that one really stands out from the crowd. :)

I dunno. Ebivision Pac-Man looks pretty crappy to me. I'd play rather the original 2600 version.

Also, come to think of it, I probably should have left DINTAR816's version out of this poll because it dominates all in terms of quality. I just enjoy Hack 'Em the most because of its extra features. :)

I didn't realize there were SO MANY variants! Wouldn't it have been amazing in 1982 to know this would happen?

Nah, Ms. Pac-Man with her changing mazes and floaty fruit won us over by then!

The good one, obviously! I like the original, mostly for the quirks and the fact it's NOT trying to be yet another arcade pacman.

I would have loved ebivisions version bitd, but, reasons.

Modern I like hackum, but again, mostly cause it's different.

I downloaded and played the DINTAR816 8K version yesterday. Very nice job.

I can't really choose a favorite from the list because I have only played two of them, one of them being the original.

Which one was on the 2017 Atari Flashback Portable?

I think it was Dennis Debro’s Pac-Man 4K, but it showed DINTAR816’s version on the box.
