atrax27407 Posted August 7, 2018 Share Posted August 7, 2018 (edited) I have assembled all of the bits and pieces for Chris Schneider's AVPC to VGA project. Everything went together just fine. However, when I tried it out, I got a very "jiggly" picture with an intermittent black band across the screen that I was unable to correct. I suspect the culprit to be the VGA monitor that I am using. Since Chris used more modern LCD VGA monitors in his tests and I used a 2007 Compaq FS7600, can any of you hardware experts tell me if there is some subtle difference in the VGA signal between modern and an 11-year old unit?
