Stan
Title says it all people. I was talking to someone through the Facebook group, but we know how those go. The true hardcore old guarde, KEEPS IT TO THE FORUMS. Anyway, I don't feel like doing this myself, so please do not direct me to such a thread. I want to pay YOU for one of these. I have a Junior I can send to use for the conversion, but if you feel more comfortable with a regular version (woody preferred), I can pay for that, of course. HIT ME UP! The kid wants to play more, and MORE!!!
mobiusstriptech
There is no mod for HDMI on the 2600. Anyone offering it is probably just jamming a composite to HDMI converter inside. Your TV will do a better job.
adamchevy
The closest I’ve come is Component. It was a pretty nice setup. I sold it a while back for 250$. I would just purchase a Retron 77.

Your TV will do a better job. The display comes out with some slight fuzziness to it that I've been unable to rectify. Someone told me he can mod woodies and Jr.'s into HDMI output, but he must be doing what you said.

I assume you've tried one. Is the HD output decent on-screen?
Ikrananka
I installed Tim Worthington's RGB mod into my 2600 Jr. I route the RGB output to an OSSC via one of Tim's RGB to SCART cables. The OSSC scales the image by 5x and outputs HDMI to my LCD monitor. The image quality is absolutely perfect. Stan
Yes - mine is NTSC. Lol how much can I pay you to do this for me?
Ikrananka
Lol how much can I pay you to do this for me? To be honest, it's not a mod I would want to do again. A lot of soldering, lots of wires and very fiddly. Try contacting AA member @Yurkie - I believe he still offers an install service for these mods.
