Stella Database switch off

OK i try to explain.

if I make screenshots in Stella with F12, then the information of the supposed dump (from the internal database) is stored in the file.

Even if I mark in the options that the filename from the dump is chosen for the name of the generated screenshot, then information from the internal database is still written in the file.

Of course, I can save the generated file again to remove this information, but that's another step i might save myself if I can turn off the database.

Maybe there is another way without changin each rom information by hand.

here is a example

i mean only the ROM Name

If you simply want to have the ROM filename saved instead of the properties filename, then that is easily accomplished. In fact, it could be considered a bug that it is using the properties name when you've selected to use actual filename. So that can easily be fixed.

However, I'm still not clear on why it is a big deal at all. I can fix it, of course.

The internal properties database will not be disabled, since it's integral to how Stella works. But I can certainly look into fixing the bug you mentioned.
