problem with CBS Module 1, some help?

I just bought a boxed CBS Module 1

with that way, I thought I would be able to play 2600 games on my big tv

but I have no signal

I know the parallel port of the Coleco console works as I have a SGM ...

 

The console is NTSC and the module french (Pal) could it be the problem?

Yes, the Exp. Module 1's are region (local TV standard) specific and so you need an NTSC (North American) Exp. Module 1 for it to work on an NTSC ColecoVision.

If the expansion module is from France, it's likely secam or rgb but not pal.
