Likely they are not missing they are in another digdug ROM version

Those are the files in digdug1 in a split set. That's the namco rev 1 split files; digdug is the parent file and also has the namco rev 2 files. The first three files might be named differently e.g. dd1.1, dd1.2, dd1.3. Regardless how they are named, mame should find them okay. I don't think they have changed since at least v0.153 so you should be able to find them in any mame rom set that's not ancient. Does dig dug rev 2 work for you? What version of mame are you using?

0.139u1 is he version i have trouble with. i have 0.37b5, but i can't customize the touch layout. and dig dug crashes and restarts on that version. maybe i'm just not existing properly?

i fixed it. i used the atari version.
