Atari_scotland #1 Posted September 23, 2018 Folks, I'm doing some clearing and want to donate my (working!) Atari STE and 60± games to a good home where they'll be made use of, rather than dumped... Are there any good websites or stores that take old kit? Or would any of you be interested? Happy to send for this willing to pay post and packaging. Should note, I'm UK-based. Tips welcome! Justin Payne #2 Posted September 23, 2018 I think you would find many people very happy to give your 520 and games a home. Just wait a very short moment and this post will blow up.

Happy to send for this willing to pay post and packaging. Should note, I'm UK-based. Tips welcome! I working actively on keeping Atari ST(E) games alive. Some originals will be good as reliable sources. And STE as testing platform, and for some gaming too, of course http://atari.8bitchip.info/ http://atari.8bitchip.info/fromhd2.php http://atari.8bitchip.info/ASTGA/astgam.php
AMenard #4 Posted September 23, 2018 Maybe someone in europe will be interested. The main problem with the ST, unlike the Amiga, is the video output that is a bitch to work with unless you have CRTs or really old LCDs laying around. Don't get me wrong, I love the ST, but it's less supported by modern hardware hacker.

pixelmischief #7 Posted September 23, 2018 I nominate ParamoidLittleMan. His game conversions, which make games playable from hard drive and often add Falcon compatibility, have done more to keep my Atari machines fun and accessible than pretty much anything else.
anzac #8 Posted September 23, 2018 Yeah, I agree. If shipping is split by several of us he can receive it for almost nothing. I’d contribute 10€
