Vocelli #2 Posted October 5, 2018 SEASON 8 has begun!!! You may start to post scores NOW! Why we play the HSC: The HSC club gives a chance to set some personal High Scores. I personally keep track of my personal High Scores and try to beat that score during the week. The older I get.... the harder it has become. I also play to try new games or play games that I never gave a chance before. This is great because I can play a game and get tips/tricks from other HSC players. Some people play to see if they can finish in the top 24.... some people play to try to be first. And some people play just for fun.... And that is what we are all here for.... FUN!!! Have FUN my HSC friends. Play fair and play often. The Season is marathon and not a quick race... Thanks everyone for keeping the HSC strong!
Vocelli #3 Posted October 5, 2018 Second note: I may skip scores or make mistakes on accident. Please kindly post a reminder about a mistake or PM me.... I will get to it. I will also try to update daily... this may not always happen. HAVE FUN.... READY SET GO!

karokoenig #7 Posted October 5, 2018 Dragonfire 1BB: 13,070. I was never really good at this game, but I think I made it to about 20k back when I was younger. For now, I'm happy that I passed 10k.
AtariWarlord #8 Posted October 5, 2018 Oh geez -- it had to be Dragonfire, didn't it, lol? Anyway, allow me to join in the praise to Vocelli for moderating this HSC; high score competitions make playing video games so much more fun.
Eltigro #9 Posted October 5, 2018 I'll probably be playing several of these games via emulation as my actual cart collection for the 2600 is not that big. Some will probably be on the Flashback Portable... don't know if that's an advantage or a hindrance. lol Hope to post a score sometime this weekend. Good luck to all! TigerSuperman #12 Posted October 5, 2018 Oh geez -- it had to be Dragonfire, didn't it, lol? Anyway, allow me to join in the praise to Vocelli for moderating this HSC; high score competitions make playing video games so much more fun. I find playing Dragonfire is easier to keep up with in later levels if you're constantly blinking your eyes as you play. Don't ask me why it just works lol. AtariWarlord #19 Posted October 5, 2018 Here's an even more modest start: 2,000. In the interests of full disclosure, I just found out my photo was automatically slugged Dragon Treasure by Funland. I'm almost certain this is the same game, but just to be safe I'm going to download a fresh ROM from here (mind you, I think I got the ROM I've been playing through AtariAge under the guise of Dragonfire.

Atari PAC-MAN Fan #25 Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) I never liked this game. I think it's way too hard for all the wrong reasons. Everything moves WAY too fast! By the time I reach screen #5 or so, I just get raped by the dragon! I also find it too bland and repetitive to be considered "fun." Anyway, here's my score: Edited October 5, 2018 by Atari PAC-MAN Fan
