Fritz the Cat Game + Cart Picture "Vaporware"

Recommended Posts

I was trying to figure out what I could use for an avitar. So I pulled up adobe and spent way to much time and research for this. I asume the game concept for be to "Lay Plenty Of Woman". Hopefully nobody else did this idea.

Later,

Josh

How about a Mr. B Natural game, from MST3K fame?

If we can't have Mr. Natural then at least have the Fabulous Furry Freak Bros. !!

Let's stick to the R.Crumb characters here. Keep on truckin'.

You ever see the documentary on Crumb? I think he pretty thoroughly reviles "keep on truckin" by now, and all the parodies thereof. It's even more interesting to me though what a strange guy he was (and still is) and how his family is like a carnival sideshow. And for me Crumb is one of those guys who walks that fine line between "anything that causes a vehement reaction is good art" and "shocking people isn't art, it's just schlock" a la Mapplethorpe.

Seeing as I have never heard of Crumb, the first thing that popped into my head was Mr. B. Natural from MST3K.

I'm a bigtime Crumb fan. He would HATE the idea of a video game based on his characters. His experiences dealing with the Fritz mivies soured him on all forms of licensing.

People should see the movie "Crumb" even if they're not cartoon fans.

Yes in the Movie he seems like the more normal one :lolblue: I am a big Crumb Fan. My Frenchie in the Avatar is name Russo and MY Pugs name is Crumb :) Here is his picture. I think he looks just like him. By the way. I love that Fritz cart Avatar. IT came out cool.

I asume you used a filter. Believe me it started out to be clear. But in order to shrink it down to 15k. It turned fuzzy and my brain was mush when I was done. Thanks for the clear avitar and to the other who gave me a thumbs up. On another note I was thinking of doing a 7800 linux cartridge but remebered somebody else aready did linux.

Thanks Tons,

Josh

I asume you used a filter.

Photoshop 3.0.4, "Unsharp Mask". Then I used Ulead's Smartsaver Pro to export to a nice JPG. I had to crank up the colour quality more than normal because the orange and red weren't doing well.

I too took the liberty to enhance your Avatar. And I made it slightly bigger and clearer using Photoshop 7.

Yeah, I like R Crumb too. An interesting man to say the least ... :D I would have so say that MegaManFan put it very well with "that fine line", well spoken :)

I saw the R Crumb documentary on TV once, very ..... interesting. I would love to see it again...
