USB joystick

Is there a good USB joystick I can plug into a computer to play 2600 games on the computer. I see one on eBay that gets bad reviews. Thank you.

This is all new to me. Would I plug my joystick, currently from a FB2 into the 2600-dapter and plug that into the computer? Thanks.

I like the ones i got from legacy engineering years ago. Unfortunately i dont think they are available anymore.

You can use real Atari controllers with it. Gemstick aftermarket controllers were the controller of choice in the 1980's. Decathlon would cause the edge of the white plastic joystick on the OEM Atari controller to come out of the housing--and get stuck that way. The Gemstick was more durable.

 

I don't own any OEM Atari 2600 controllers that function properly any longer, but the Gemsticks live on.

That looks like the Stelladapter I purchased from AtariAge years ago. It's too bad they don't make those anymore, but it's good to know that a similar product can still be found. I'm always paranoid that my Stelladapter will break some day and I won't be able to play Atari via emulation with real joysticks.
