S1500
I'm watching a fun documentary called Perfect Bid, which is about The Price is Right. During a taping, they showed a price reveal on a 1984-aired episode and I see this. And also Boy that font looks familiar, huh? There was this sliding animation between the screenshots.

S1500
There is nothing I could find involving the use of retro computers in game shows. I know Tic Tac Dough, for their 3x3 board(of televisions) loaded the programs on cassette at the beginning of the day. I think they used Apple //s. Retrospect
lol there's only ever been one computer that uses that exact font and that's the TI. I even counted the amount of characters on the top photo and it's two chars off the edge of a 28 character print area. Defo the 99.

monzamess
Here's a news story about the guy and the documentary. It says he himself used a TI 99/4a to prepare himself for the show. Possibly those screens are his own homebrew. https://www.expressnews.com/entertainment/movies-tv/article/How-one-San-Antonio-man-s-obsession-with-The-12979398.php
+acadiel
The guy apparently wrote a Basic program and a Windows program at one point, looking at the snapshots (and he mentioned both). Still looking for the TI screen. Might have been something he wrote like the others. Edit: I think I found him on FB and sent him a message directing him to this thread... said we would love to see his program
+acadiel
Wow, this was fast Sounds like he'll grab it after he unpacks. Hi Jon. I wrote several programs for some of the Price is Right games on the TI-99/4A but they are all standalone programs. The other version I wrote runs on PCs using GW Basic and plays through an entire show. Also at the moment I’m in the process of moving so everything is pretty much packed up. Once I get settled and unpacked, I’ll see what I can do.
