SS
My Kool Aid Man cart works fine in my Jr. Kool Aid Man also works fine with my Jr. Can you both please double check this to confirm? "Kool Aid Man" cartridges are known to have issue with the TIA chip in most Juniors. What generally happens is that the game will start normally with the busting through the wall screen but then the game itself is unplayable because your Kool Aid jug just bounces back and forth in the top left corner of the screen as if it is continually being touched by Thirsties. It is interesting to have two people in this thread that do not have the problem. There is a fixed ROM version out there for use on multi-carts but the original cart should have the issue on most Juniors. I own two Juniors and have the issue on both consoles. GeekDragon
Ok I didnt read the entire thread. Yeah the beginning works fine. Thought that was it. I'll double check the playability.
TheCoolDave
OK, I have read over this thread and many others on this subject. It's tend to lean that the 4 switch is better compatibly than the 6 switch. The thing is, I am still setting up for my cab ( http://atariage.com/forums/topic/284807-connecting-many-classic-consoles-to-modern-tv-revisited/ ) and my 6 switch is in the best shape... ave1
My Gemini won't display Inspector Clouseau in my Pink Panther 2600 prototype. The game also has other issues when players on that console.
GeekDragon
OK, I had to do alittle cleaning, but got my Jr. up and running, and yes I can confirm that Kool Aid Man plays great on my Jr.
Coolcrab
I have never had any issues with compatibility with any 2600 or games. The only issue I have had is with the 7800 and some carts not fitting correctly. Koolaid man does not work on the Jr. You need a 4 switch to play it properly. Koolaid man works fine on my Jr, not all models have the bad TIA. I haven't tried on the Flashback9 yet.
