KAZ #1 Posted June 13, 2003 I found yet another Atari 2600 Woodgrain at my local goodwill. I just walked in, and then saw it. It just sat there with that gorgeous woodgrain, and was like "YOU WILL BUY ME!" So I did. And the thing is it worked, and the color works too. The other one I got from there had color that glitched off mysteriously. I do have one question...there's something rattling around inside of it, yet it still works fine. I have a genesis controller that has something rattling around too, but it works fine too. What explains this? Is it like the fact that voltage sometimes gets too high, and shatters a diode or something?
Raijin Z #2 Posted June 13, 2003 Screw post most likely broke off. Take the offending item apart and remove or glue the broken piece.
Atari2600Lives #3 Posted June 14, 2003 Congrats! Can you belive I have been to 5 different Goodwills maybe 100 times each since the Mid 90s and I have NEVER seen an Atari unit. South Florida is the land of Sega for sure but I have never seen an Atari 2600 at a Goodwill.
