atrax27407
I have 56 3.5" HD (1.44Meg) disks that are surplus to my needs. I would like to trade them for a similar approximate quantity of 3.5" DSDD disks (720K) disks. The two types are easy to differentiate between. The HD disks have two holes (an open hole top left and a sliding write protect top right) and the 720K disk just have a single hole covered by a sliding write protect in the top right. If you have a spare quantity of 720K disks, please send me a PM. It would be a 1-for-1 swap. Thanks.
+arcadeshopper
are these new old stock or used disks?
atrax27407
New - at least that is what they were advertised as on eBay when I bought them awhile back. There are 30 Imation disks of 5 colors( blue, orange, green, yellow, and red) and the other 20 are generic disks in the original box (4 gray and 16 black). barry.peterson
I have several 720KB drives that don't do HD and don't have a sensor for the hole. I can use any disk in those drives, in fact I have hundreds of HD disks, including a bunch of TI-formatted DSQD 720KB diskettes.
atrax27407
I got a couple of ALPS HD drives from another member. I swapped all of my HD disks for DSDD disks which work fine in a HD drive so I'm all set. Thanks. You still in Cary?
