Vectrex SD Cart?

Recommended Posts

OK, I'm currently taking orders for the carts.

If I get enough, I will start making them again.

Thought about this hard for a few days since I already have a working solution, but decided in the end to chip in and get one for my backup Vectrex too :-) Put me down for one. You know my email.

Graham

Yes. Thankyou. I'm in!

We bought 2x for our local retro group 9ish years ago.

They are fantastic. Still the best and only SD solution for Vectrex!

I finally have my own Vectrex so I'll be pleased to get one.

I had hoped someone would develop an SD, bigger CPU, ram, + Ethernet / WiFi solution. But I won't hold my breath.

PM sent. Thank you Richard for supporting the community :) ..

Add me to the list as well,

BTW, Is there somewhere I can find the software for the old VecFlash Serial version? I recently came across my old cart, but I'm not sure where I put a copy of the loader software.

Just a quick update -

I'm about half way through building the first batch of carts.

(I still need to get hold of a Vectrex)

Excellent news, I'm in the east of England if it helps.

Would it help at all to take pre-orders with a price increase to cover the cost of a Vectrex?. If I lived anywhere near you I'd let you borrow one for a while.

Hi Richard,

Can you add me to the list for an SD flash card.

Thanks and good luck.

Quick update -

My Vectrex is arriving next week. I can then setup and test the batch of carts I have built, and have them ready to ship soon after.

Hi Richard, I already have a VecMulti, so I don't need to order another. However, I would like to say Thanks! for jumping back into the community for a while to make some more carts so people can run homebrew. I'm sure it will help keep the community alive. Be sure to promote the usage of the device as an easy development solution, I haven't tried mine like this yet, but it's got to be faster than burning EPROMs!

Hi Richard,

Please add me for a single VecMulti SD cart. (I'm repairing mine in few days/weeks)

Thanks

Eric

Interestingly, I also found the flashing software for my Vecflash cart today!

Not that I have anything else to add to it, but it's nice to have the option!

Have to find the serial to USB adapter next!
