Greetings, C= and Ami comrades!
The Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network will have three tables at the second annual Retro City Festival, taking place January 5-6, 2019 at the famous Fairplex, Expo Hall 9, 1101 W McKinley Ave. in Pomona, California (east of Los Angeles).

We'll have various Commodore and Amiga computers for everyone to see and enjoy. Our three tables will be next to the Console Museum. Think of the Fest as a bigger Downtown Los Angeles Maker Faire!
Set-up times are Thursday, Jan. 3, and Friday, Jan. 4, though we'll only need Friday to set up.

Show dates:
January 5th, 2019 (9am - 8pm)
January 6th, 2019 (10am - 5pm)

Here is an excerpt from the Retro City Fest page --

"Retro City Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to the history of video games, arcades and pinball. Come experience classic arcades, pinball, tournaments, a console play area, interactive museum, live music and more! We showcase the largest collection of vintage video game consoles in all of California!

Retro City Festival aims to be a family-friendly event and welcomes attendees of all ages. Kids ages 10 and under even get in FREE! If you have any children under 10 who would like to attend, just bring them with you on the day of the event to check in with your paid general admission and they will be given a free pass for entry."

For tickets, go to the above website link. A weekend pass is $35 plus fee, a Saturday-only pass is $25 plus fee, and a Sunday-only pass is $20 + fee. Fairplex parking is a separate fee (estimated $15 per day).

Truly,

The Ultimate 64 board arrived on Thursday, and so, it looks as if it will be there in a C64 case. I will move the Dell 2001FP multi-scan monitor from either the VIC-20 or Plus/4 to the U64/C64 and transfer the no-name 20" LCD tv/monitor to the machine that loses the 2001FP.

I have booked my room at the Knight's Inn Claremont, 2.7 miles away from the Fairplex, arriving Thursday, Jan. 3, and departing on Monday, Jan. 7.

Happy New Year!
