It is said you will receive 2 + 1 + 2 = 5 files, which sounds like a digital download. Two of the games are marked as Windows compatible, one is also compatible with Mac and Linux which makes me wonder if you're getting games encapsulated in standalone emulators, or files as D64 images to put on a memory card. One even mentions cartridge, though that could be a CRT file, not a physical module.

Not sure about the other two, but Organism looks great! Please let us know how the downloads work for you. If they can be put on an EasyFlash or SD card for use in the SD2IEC, etc.

Yeah, you download the files and then run them in VICE (or SD2IEC or U1541 etc.). Two of those above offered a package that included VICE, but I don't need that. I've downloaded a hand full of files from Itch.io. Some come with a disk, cart, cassette binary and a raw .prg, others just have a .d64.

 

You can download some of the free games to test it out for yourself first. As far as free C64 downloads go, I recommend Joe Gun and Sub Hunter.
