STe demos problem

I have STE 4Mb, TOS 2.06 DE and Iam watching demos, i have small personal demoparty at home

 

i found some demos which do not work on my STE and i do not know why.

 

for example very nice demo EXAUST

it needs STE1 MB, when I boot from floppy demo write me that need STE 1MB . . strange

 

And there are another demos which do not work:

TOS 2.06 is probably main culprit. Get good old TOS 1.62 .

Of course, as is with games. it may be that some are coded so poorly that really work only with 1 MB RAM, and not with more.

There is SW what can set your STE to act as it really has 1 MB RAM .
