Stack Lightpen: Life, Seek and Destroy, Simon?

Recommended Posts

I've been working on a light gun/lightpen game collection, mostly as files. I've run across these games that were made by Stack Computer Services, but have not been dumped, and seem obscure. I wondered if anyone has run across them. I think they may have been included on one of the two cassette tapes sold with a couple Stack products (Stack Lightpen, Stack Paintbox), as well as individually. I believe Mr Atari has the other of the two tapes and has dumped the games on that tape. The missing games are:

Crossword Twister (crossword)
Life (???)
Seek and Destroy (battleship)
Simon (match the sequence)

(On Mr Atari's web page, it says he has "Crossword Twister" but not "Lost in the Labyrinth", but on Atarimania, "Lost in the Labyrinth" is dumped, but not "Crossword Twister", so I think there may be an error in one of the two records)

http://www.mr-atari.com/cassettes.htm(near rhe bottom of the page, alpahabetically as Stack Lightpen Software: ...).

These are also available for C64 and a couple other systems (e.g., BCC), but interested in the Atari versions. Here is a picture of the c64 lightpen with the two included tapes and an a couple individuals.

So, after a little more digging, Ive learned that if these have all become lost, they are just controller hacks of currently dumped keyboard games, so perhaps these can be hacked at some point. Perhaps Ill figure out how to do it some day.
