Animated .GIF's of a TI-99/4A theme.

Recommended Posts

Static pictures can be worth 1000 words, but they can also be dull and uninteresting sometimes as well.

How about we start a nice "Library Collection" of Animated .GIF images with a TI-99/4A theme?

I'll start it off...

I find animated GIFs pretty irritating, especially when they cycle continuously and cannot be stopped with a click of the mouse. They are often quite clever when first viewed, but quickly become tiresome and distracting.

I guess that means when you get tired of watching you look away or go somewhere else, the same as with anything. In this case they are in a dedicated thread that you can avoid at any time.

Here are a few more I've made over the years... what do you guys have?

You must know; Zero Zap is really a COOL! Game...

...at least the small stand-up arcade version...

you just get 2 or 3 helpers to each take a fire button ...

and go meshuga...

:)

Actually, your guess missed my meaning. The principal reason such GIFs are annoying is that they are often used to attract the reader to related text, which then becomes difficult to read with that irritating, unstoppable motion constantly in the field of view.

Really? I'm so used to advertising everywhere, scrolling text on the bottom of screens and stuff like that. I automatically tune out everything I'm not focused on. So I never though of it like that.

Okay, I'll admit it, I really don't have anything against ZeroZap, but over the years it's kinda worked into a running joke, like the TI joysticks.

Speaking of animated GIF's Omega, I noticed a little while back that your profile pic omega symbol cycled colors; was that an animated GIF?
