XB1

Gears 5 (315 min)

Slay the Spire (581 min)

Just XBox this week, with a few more runs on StS, and I started the Gears 5 campaign, which is pretty good.  I only played through about half of the first Gears of War, so I'm not a big fan of the franchise, but this one is approachable, even if you only kinda like FPSs, like me.

Week 36

Top games

1. Rad (Switch) - 984 min.
2. Tetris 99 (Switch) - 750 min.
3. Slay the Spire (Xbox One) - 581 min.
4. Gears 5 (Xbox One) - 358 min.
5. Gauntlet Dark Legacy (Gamecube) - 352 min.
6. Madden 20 (Xbox One) - 247 min.
7. Microsoft Solitaire Collection (iOS) - 232 min.
8. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (Xbox One) - 95 min.
9. Pandemic: The Board Game (Xbox One) - 94 min.
10. Rayman Legends (Xbox 360) - 81 min.

Top systems

1. Switch - 1769 min.

2. Xbox One - 1375 min.
3. Gamecube - 352 min.
4. iOS - 232 min.
5. Xbox 360 - 143 min.
6. PC - 134 min.

Total 4005 minutes and 15 different games on 6 different systems.

Rad and the Switch are back at the top in a week with the least amount of gameplay for 20 weeks. Tetris 99 does it best figure so far, and as already mentioned by StormSurge, we might've seen the beginning of the end for PUBG. Back in the old days when games were stored on cartridge or floppy disk, they didn't take up more room than the shelf space, but I realize that with digital games installed on a limited size hard disk, you got to prune every now and then.

Storage space is not the reason I uninstalled PUBG. ?

Thanks again for the tracking Carlsson! I'm hoping to provide some more diversity to the list.

I'm not going to play any more Modern games this weekend- watching a movie with my wife before bed and likely just dorking around on my phone.  :)

Since I have no self-control whatsoever, I went ahead and picked up Borderlands 3.  There are some pretty nice QoL improvements (not clicking ammo to pick up is a huge one to me), but it's taking me some time to get used to the 'new' way stuff works.

XBox One:

Borderlands 3 -- 1123 minutes

Switch

Wargroove (443 min)

XB1

Borderlands 2 (291 min)

Dead Cells (725 min)

Slay the Spire (89 min)

Picked up Wargroove for Switch a few months ago, so I gave it a go and enjoyed it, as I expected, as turn-based strategy games are my go-to.  What I wasn't sure about was Dead Cells, as roguelike metroidvainias aren't really my cup of tea, but I'm addicted, such a fun game!  Sounds like BL3 needs some bugs squished, so my brother and I are still push on in our BL2 play through.

I actually have some modern times this week!

PS2

Enthusia Professional Racing - 75 min (A racing game by Konami.  Reviews online seem to be mainly positive, but say it is very realistic.  I played for over an hour and never did anything more than license tests.  Was getting pretty annoyed with it... can I just race, please?  It does look nice, though, but just seemed like it was going to be too hard to get into.)

Supercar Street Challenge - 5 min (Racing game by Activision.  This one was less realistic than the other one.  Not sure if all the cars in it are real or not, but the one I raced did not look real.  There's a Saleen supercar of some sorts on the cover, but it's probably something that's unlocked later on or something.)

It was the usual gaming routine around here this past week, with a bit of Switch time then a few Sega Genesis games played with the misses. This week we ended up spending most of our gaming time playing some new Genesis pickups that I scored on eBay recently. :)

Week 37

Top games

1. Borderlands 3 (Xbox One) - 1123 min.
2. Dead Cells (Xbox One) - 725 min.
3. Wargroove (Switch) - 443 min.
4. DOOM (Switch) - 380 min.
5. Borderlands 2 (Xbox One) - 291 min.
6. Microsoft Solitaire Collection (iOS) - 209 min.
7. Gears 5 (Xbox One) - 189 min.
8. Slay the Spire (Xbox One) - 89 min.
9. Entusia Professional Racing (PS2) - 75 min.
10. Overcooked II (Xbox One) - 70 min.

Top systems

1. Xbox One - 2526 min.

2. Switch - 823 min.
3. iOS - 240 min.
4. PS2 - 80 min.
5. Gamecube - 69 min.

Total 3738 minutes and 14 different games on 5 different systems.

Hot from the compiler comes Borderlands 3, with lots of bugs and glitches to sort out I've read. Though it was only played a tiny bit this week (not even 19 hours!) it is enough to take the title ahead of the year old Dead Cells. A strong Xbox One week secures its title on the systems list.

I agree with the assessment of Borderlands 3- it's kind of a hot mess right now, lol.  I'm still able to play through on single-player, but there are some pretty aggravating glitches.

Switch

Wargroove (634 min)

XB1

Dead Cells (489 min)

Still working on these two indies. Wargroove is getting tougher as it goes, but the AI isn't smart enough to draw back its units to heal them, so I've only failed and retried one of the side missions. But, a lot of the missions, I've only scored 1 of 3 stars, so room for improvement, I guess.

Dead Cells is still fun, but a bit frustrating, too. Finally made it to the High Peak Castle level, but I ended up dying after getting the third key but before I could finish the level and fight the end boss. Argh.

Hm, only three people to post this week? I'll wait until later with the stats in case someone like @Jin is super late. Of course anyone, new participant or recurring, are welcome to post in the mean time.

I sure am super late. A muddled mix of life problems and depression kinda sapped my enthusiasm for gaming and just about everything else this past week, but thank you for remembering me. Here's my (very late) household times for the week. I'll try my very best to not be late next week!

Gears Of War 5 (XboxOneX) A really nice sequel that expands the gameplay with rpg/leveling up elements now. The campaign is beautiful,it took me 6 hours just to beat chapter II yesterday. Graphics are some of the best around too. Really nice job Microsoft, this game is game of the year material.

Played some games with my cousin on Friday.

Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360) 30 mins. We played some campaign online but the other players were idiots and then the game lost connection.
Halo 3 (Xbox 360) 20 mins. We played a few Halo 3 matches but it was pretty bad. Trashy players all over and the game on the Xbone kept glitching in split screen where sometimes images
from the other's player's screen would show up in the other.
