sanman Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 I just picked up a Magnavox odyssey 3000 cleaned her up looks great works great. I would love to put an Led light on the system to know when its on and off. I have the bulb and have no idea where to connect it....anybody have any input? Thank you in advance. +-^CrossBow^- Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 Well assuming your LED light is a +5 then the easiest way is to find where the +5 voltage regulator is. You attach the + side of the LED off the +5v and the other to ground. Then when the power switch is turned on, the +5 from the VR kicks in and turns on the LED. That is the most basic way of doing it. But you should also make sure you have current limiting resistor off the + side to the LED as well so it doesn't burn out to quickly.
