retiredqwest #4 Posted January 18, 2019 (edited) Is there an ISBN or UPC code on the back of the book? edit: Chris Root wrote a game called Pulsar.... didn't see it listed at WHTECH or the above book for that matter. christophlee #5 Posted January 18, 2019 This was self-published, and didn't have an ISBN. That was in the days before books commonly had UPC codes too.

blackbox #7 Posted January 18, 2019 Interesting. The 52 page book is reviewed in the first issue of Micropendium Feb 1984. The book had either a cassette or a diskette. Who is C A Root? Micropendium gives his true name as Chris Reutercrona and gives the package a straight A review. The book does however seem to be a bit of a rarity.. Gamebase has "PULSAR" by C A Root, 1983. s
blackbox #8 Posted January 18, 2019 edit: Chris Root wrote a game called Pulsar.... didn't see it listed at WHTECH or the above book for that matter. The game PULSAR is in the TI GAMEBASE if you can locate a copy- it seems to have been offline for a while. It has the program PULSAR with a couple of creendumps. Anyone have server space to host the Gamebase which could take the hammering? The rar file was around 240MB and if a few people download it, that's quite a server load. (I expect some forum members have the rar file somewhere....). s

I would join that.

+Ksarul #12 Posted January 19, 2019 I had heard of a book by C A Root, but I had never actually seen a copy of it (and I have been capturing every TI book I could find since 1981 or so). Please scan this so we can preserve it add it to the online library.
