Many thanks to Paulo Garcia for all his hard work on the new Media Status Panel images!!! Added support for macOS Mojave Dark Mode - including new Media Status Panel images.* Added Inverse Key to Function Key Window. Bugs Fixed: Fix spelling errors in Preferences panel. Patched keyboard issues caused by libSDL 2.0 - International keyboard translation is always enabled now Mark
+DrVenkman
Although I’m not (currently) a Mac user, thank you Marc! Atari800MacX was my emulator of choice for years, and SIO2OSX was my peripheral emulator of choice as well. So glad to see Atari800MacX updated for current OS versions! +slx
Thank you very much, Mark! Wanting to send a donation, I found that the (Kagi) link on your webpage is dead.
Marius
Yesterday I found out with 5.0.0 that printing does not work. Also going to menu resulted a ; on Atari screen when leaving menu. The printing to a txt file is a feature I used a lot since I type most of my txts on real Atari and with emulator I get them in txt files on Mac. It is fabulous to have this working again!!! Thanks. Marius
Both issues seem to be gone with 5.0.1 ... I will test more of course, but it looks good!
abbotkinneydude
Hi Mark! A huge thanks for ATARI800MacX. I'm still using version 4.6.0 on my Power PC Macs + SIO2OSX. I can't wait to try the new version on my Intel Macs. Again, thanks for the hard work!

atarimac
All, I've received several emails about my donation link being down, and several people asked me to post a PayPal link in a separate thread. The service I used to use for donations (kagi.com) went bankrupt several years ago. Donations are by no means required, if you want I do have a PayPal account, and if you have one, you could donate via http://paypal.me/markgrebe/ Thanks, Mark

atarixle
A yeah, thank you 1000 times for this Mac Version of Atari800. Do you think you will merge Atari800 4.0.0 with Atari800MacX anytime soon? Edited January 30, 2019 by atarixle
+Ripdubski
I can't seem to get the cursor keys to work in 501 on my MacBook Pro. Is there a special config I need to set? I checked the preferences and tried both ctrl and without ctrl. I also checked that Mission Control wasn't using the keys. (edit) Nevermind. Joystick emulation was turned on for stick 1 as left keyboard. Leaving post intact in case someone searches on this in future.
Lastic
As I have been able to install SDL 2.0.3 on my 10.5 PPC iBook, I'm failing to compile Atari800Mac from source. Should I refrain from compiling with GCC and try Xcode instead ?
8-bit and more
I've been trying to get the H: drive to work, specifically mapped to a directory on my Mac but keep getting a "130 nonexistent device" error. I tried selecting "Enable H: path" and also "D: patch" but no luck. Any ideas? I have the lates Mac OSn Catalina 10.15.2 thanks.
+skr
Those are my settings (on the current Catalina release) : Can access easily all four drives from BASIC: And they show up on my Hard Drive: But I realised, that I´m also having trouble accessing it from Sparta DOS X. Will check that later, when I´m back home.
