This is the thread I'm going to use to release any ColecoVision Unreleased/Prototype/Vaporware games (or rom files, if you will)

 

The ColecoVision Brotherhood is composed of a few members here who put their money together (sometimes alone) to buy ColecoVision prototypes to release them to the public, so anyone can finally enjoy them!

Pursuit of the Pink Panther

 

It is just a rolling demo of the first stage

Although, CollectorVision is currently making the full game!
In fact, it will get released end of 2019

Awesome! Thank you for sharing this (almost) lost game/demo, JF and team!

 

Even though it's a demo, this still an important piece of ColecoVision history and I (and many others I'm sure) have been wanting to check it out for a long time now. I'm just glad you were able to acquire and preserve it. Can't wait to see what magic you guys work with the additions!

It may just be a short rolling demo with simple and annoying music - but it's awesome to finally see this after all the mystery and smoke and mirrors that went on with this in the past.

Thank you very much! I remember very well the back and forth with the guy(s) that owned the prototype cartridge and after stating to them that it sounds like it was just a self running demo how things went quiet for a long stretch. Glad to hear that things eventually worked out and awesome that you have decided to share the rom dump with everyone.

I was contacted by RB in 2013 about Pink Panther, SAT Defense and Quest for Volcan.

 

He got those protos directly from HQ Knoxville TN.

 

He shared some pictures and a little story from RG with me, but it was confidential at that time.

i have quickly checked in the ROM code because i found strange that the rom was 32K just for that rolling animation.

 

I hope to find some code i could jump and see other screen or something else...

It seems there is nothing else...

Yes, the Atari2600 and CV version were the same game

Of course the CV version have better graphics and animations
