Hi- I have a large amount of Atari ST stuff my wife has asked me to clear out. Lots still to be listed. Will be posting most of it on EBay. Books, disks, hardware, boxed software. You can look me up as PSUflyfisherman. Thanks!

Sorry I have not tried it, that is a good question. I have a SC1224 and a SM124 with a monitor master so I never tried anything else (plus I had this stuff in storage for awhile).

The GT-1000 is real for certain, but I have had a difficult time finding any documentation. Definitely interested. I just picked up a 520ST with no drives.

I know I've heard of people using an 80-track 5.25" drive on the Amiga, since the disks were so much cheaper back then...

I have one of those Amiga drives. It will format 880k on a 5.25" disk as the OS does not know the difference between it and a 3.5" drive. I do not believe it can actually do HD, though, only DD as the Amiga is speed-locked at 250kbps. In any case, I am not certain HD 5.25" disks were any less expensive than DD 3.5". Been a long time, though.

People used 5 1/4" drives on the ST mainly for PC-Ditto and other PC emulators. Remember, at the time, most PCs still used 5 1/4" drives.
