+atari2600land
I'm going to work on a Colecovision game called "I Sawed the Flawed Cod God." Stay tuned for updates as I learn about Colecovision programming! Edited February 2, 2019 by atari2600land
+atari2600land
For those who found the Hello World tutorial, I found TNIASM here. Anyway, here is my very first Colecovision ROM. I am so proud. Well, not really. flawedcodgod.rom
Ikrananka
Nice start Can I suggest that as you release your work in progress ROM files that you assign them a version number.
+atari2600land
I added a moving fish (the Flawed Cod God.) This is version #2. Can someone tell me why I needed to add 3 extra characters at the beginning to display the entire title? db "QQQI SAWED THE FLAWED COD GOD/CHRIS PRESENTS/2019" ; the 3 Qs are needed for some reason. flawedcodgod2.rom Edited February 3, 2019 by atari2600land
+atari2600land
OK, this is getting stupid. I tried for 3 hours to make the fish go down once he is at the top of the screen, but it won't do what I tell it to. What am I doing wrong? flawedcodgod3.asm
+atari2600land
I made the cod move down. This is really really really difficult. I don't know if I can keep going. flawedcodgod3.rom
zyzzle
Hey! We're rooting for you. It is difficult, but great rewards come to those who persevere. Love the title. Haven't heard the expression before. I'm flummoxed trying to say it 5x in a row!
