milasoft
Hello Atariage, I'm writing to let you know that I've finished programming a website for the front end to the Gamebase database. This website (in theory) shows every game made for the Commodore PET (and coming this week, Vic-20 games). There are download links, and you can search alphabetically, by publisher, author. Deep search option soon to be implented. There's a possibility people can soon edit the entries and submit their own games too. www.commodoregamebase.com
+cvga
There were a lot more games created for the PET than I would have guessed. I'll be interested in checking out your Vic-20 update when it's available.

thetick1
Oh the VIC-20 listings are awesome. Very well done. Thanks!!! I found my favorite ViC-20 game: https://www.commodoregamebase.com/details.asp?gid=451&pl=VIC and well my least favorite game of all time: https://www.commodoregamebase.com/details.asp?gid=312&pl=VIC Edited February 3, 2019 by thetick1

+cvga
BTW - this is fantastic! How long did it take to compile that list of Vic-20 games? Can't wait to look at some of the scans it appears you're going to add. I spent a lot of time with my Vic-20 as a child (I still have it set up) and really enjoyed looking through the games you have listed. It would be nice if I could sort solely on cartridges. Maybe in the future Thanks again!
youxia
The Gamebase packs have been created over the years, by many people. The amount of information and extras is staggering, I use them everyday. There is one for most of the microcomputers/consoles. They're somewhat elusive due to the copyright stuff but you can have a look here for clues: http://www.gamebase64.com/forum/index.php
milasoft
Yes I can't take credit for compiling the games, that effort goes to some other dedicated retro enthusiasts. I made the front end, that's all
Arnuphis
Amok was a ton of fun but Cosmiads was the big hit with me and my two mates who used to come over to play it for hours, chasing that high score...

Mr SQL
This is awesome! Had a blast looking at all the old Pet software - Scott Adams Pirate Adventure & Space Invaders stood out, remember loading from the built in 300 baud cassette... tons of fun. Great site! carlsson
Mr SQL: Don't miss Car Race ][ by Satoru Iwata (yes, the same) or for that matter Mike Singleton's games Seige (*), Ski etc. (*) The VIC and C64 versions were renamed Siege. I suppose both words work, since you're defending a seige from a siege. Edited February 5, 2019 by carlsson
