It looks like a nice way to wire up a custom 7800 controller. I've attached a link to the board in the AA store, along with a photo. https://atariage.com/store/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1077 Do the wires go through the holes on the board? When you tin the wire, use flux on the wire to make it easier to get the solder to stick to the wire.
