Need help...recording 2600 footage from TV

Recommended Posts

When I record game footage for my Youtube channel I always use STELLA and use a screen capture program. I'm going to be recording some stuff from a real TV. Any tips would be appreciated. when I was a kid I couldn't get a clear picture of the TV to get a Pitfall! patch!

Get a USB TV tuner and plug it in to your laptop.

RF out from Atari 2600 to coaxial splitter. Run one cable to TV and the other cable to your USB TV tuner.

Use software like OBS or Xsplit to record.

Don't forget to give me reps.

Forgot some details...you'll need this to connect your 2600 to coaxial splitter

Also stay away from the Hauppauge WinTV. You will have bad results with some systems.

I couldn't find the one I bought on eBay years ago. It was like $30 and it worked flawlessly with any console I connected to it.

Let me know if you find out. The ones I saw online were quite expensive.
