+DamonicFury
Doesnt bounty Bob work with the Atari max? My understanding is that it works with the new SD version, but not the older 128-in-1 version.
Hank Rearden
Doesnt bounty Bob work with the Atari max?It does but you need to use the link from the first post. I tried the one from the Smokemonster pack and that didn't work on my Atarimax.
eegt97
Getting Better, Reached Yukon's Playground. I seem to always do something stupid on level 5. Lot's of opportunity to screw up. The game is a real gem. 58700

eegt97
67320. Still seem to always give a life to level 5 when it does nothing for you, at least on level 4 you get points for it. I did see Level 8 for a split second before immediately getting killed lol.
eegt97
82090. Well, I thought I was done for today, but went for one more. Efficient use of lives (no dying on 5) on this one.

Northcoastgamer
There are differences between the 5200 & 800 versions of the game. Level 5 for example. There is a small platform to simply fall onto from the ladder platform in the 800 version, but that platform is not there in the 5200 port and the layout is different. +Cafeman
A little more info on one screen's subtle differences here. But i could not find screens illustrating level 5 differences anywhere. http://www.miner2049er.net/category/bounty-bob-strikes-back/

I thought I had remembered hearing this somewhere: It’s a common myth that the 5200 and Atari 8bit home computer versions are identical. That is not quite true. The computer version is slightly more difficult — some of the platforms are smaller. So again, feel free to use the Atari computer version if you like. eegt97
Slight Improvement. 85940 I've reached level 10, but not on the "scoring" runs, I have only reached level 8 on those. When you die makes a big difference in points. -Brian
Mangia-Boy
I thought I can manage to overtake you, but only reached 15,380. But at least I saw the second stage for the first time. jblenkle
Yeah, this is the farthest I've ever gotten in the game. I never, ever made it past the first screen in all the time I've played this until this round of the HSC. Now I've completed the first two, but die quickly in the third. I thought I can manage to overtake you, but only reached 15,380. But at least I saw the second stage for the first time.

eegt97
99480. Just a complete choke job at the end. Can get through 1-7 without losing a life, but sometimes I die weirdly on the grain elevator, like I hit something and fall straight down when jumping. Level 8 I haven't figured out quite right, I always have to die once. Level 9 is a freebie but you have to be careful with the long jumps. Levels 10 and 11 aren't difficult once you do them a couple of times. Haven't passed Level 12, which is Acid Rain.
Hank Rearden
Just dies 3 frigging times on level 9,which is supposed to be a freebie board. Would easily have a high score. Guess I'm just going to have to go for a score versus going deep into the game.
Hank Rearden
100,370 Lost one early but cleared everything else including 8, which I finally figured out! Lost 2 guys on 10 with only a few squares! Would have given me another 7,000 or so plus the next board, which is a gimme practically. I'm almost at the point where I can get the first 12 without dying.
+Cafeman
70,770. I switched to the 5200 game and Altirra. "Jumping 101" on A8 is called "Jumping 102" on 5200 and (as reported above) does have some minor differences. I prefer the 5200 version at this point. I got to Grain Elevator so far, not sure if I'll get to play more.
eegt97
107780. Still don't have 8 quite right. I could never justify buying this one, but it has me thinking about the AtariMax SD cart.
