Anyone knows for which system this cart is ?

Looks like a Famicom cartridge to me. Japanese version of the NES.

There is an adapter in some of the very early NES carts, Its just a matter of weighing your nes carts and opening up 1 that seems about twicw the weight as a regular cart. Honeybee also made an adapter which is probably a better alternative,

BTW, Gyromite seems to be the most common with an adapter inside

It looks like the "methane" powered Rally X!

I found carts that look like that packaged with pirate Famicom systems when I was in Italy last year.

I only have a normal PAL NES , so it won´t fit.

Maybe this is some sort of pirate cartridge?

No, it's not a pirate cartridge at all... the Japanese system was quite a bit different than the other versions. Check out the pictures I attached (Pictures shameless nicked from eBay of course).

You can get an adaptor to make the cartridge fit in your system... but I think the adaptor just swaps pins, so I don't know if PAL/NTSC problems will persist.

Yes, that's no pirate (apparently). Famicom and the NES, while bascially the same system, were shaped differently, both console and cart wise.

Ha! I love that "Engrish" on the back of the cart! Anyone else read that? It's hilarious.

"Since this is a sophisticated apparatus, should avoid to operate or to store under extreme temperature, also avoid violent bumps is necessary; moreover, never disassemble it."

It only needs two words to fix it... but anyway, I bought a copy of Gyromite BECAUSE it has the adapter in it. The weight difference isn't -terribly- noticable, but if you have THE POWER, you can tell.

Well, depends on how you mean... It's Famicom, not NES, like people have said, but I'm pretty sure it's a pirate cartridge.
