Mr Robot
There isn't room. I can barely get the one SC into the space between the R3 and the TFT and I don't think it would increase the time the settings stay valid for, you'll get 20-60 secs (I haven't tested yet but the pi zero gets 15secs) with a single SC, more than enough time to power cycle the atari
_The Doctor__
Some XE's take 11 to 15 seconds to clear and cold boot.
Mr Robot
But they don't take all that time to stick voltage out of the SIO port. we are talking about keeping the SDM powered for as long as it takes to flip-pause-flop a switch that's as long as the SDM is without power, not for as long as a 130XE takes to boot. _The Doctor__
no you don't understand, the power on some 130XE's and other memory upgraded machines need the power off that long to get a clear cold start
Mr Robot
You are right, I didn't understand. I still think the one SC willl be enough, you get 15 seconds on a raspberry pi, I think an UNO will survive longer. We shall see!

I have a board design that I haven't had printed yet, I'm a bit preoccupied with SDM cases at the moment, I'll be going back to that after the cases are done. Then I can get back to the Raspberry Pi version I'm working on, and then the GBS8220 reprogrammer board, then the GBS2880 case designs What are you looking to do with rpi?
