Rendering Bug in Some Versions of Handy?

I have noticed an odd rendering bug with Robotron in some emulators based on the original/sourceforge version of Handy...

 

See attached... (Handy by Richard Bannister on a Mac)

 

Notice the "box effect" done at the start of game and after a level is cleared is not correct.

Seen similar with my poly draw demo.

It's a bug in the tilt/stretch handling.

Was a wrong handling of 1 pixel sprites.

It is fixed in later versions of Handy, such as by GadgetUK and sage.

Sometimes for good reasons. For example the latest mednafen uses SDL2 lib which crashes on my PC.

The old one (I did delete, my bad), did play the dragnet demo w/o any noise. So at least sound is good.

yeah, the sound lib is good. but what do you expect from windows very basic callbacks in handy on windows ...
