3D printing a better joystick?

With getting my Ender 3 a short while back, I'm now happily immersed in 3D printing.

 

My search on thingiverse for "Colecovision" didn't really net me much.

 

What I would love to print would be a better replacement joystick for a stock controller. Not the whole unit, but just the joystick itself. Maybe something spherical & knobby.

 

Problem is, I gotta get off my duff & learn the CAD software to actually make this & print 'er out.

Learning how to design models is the next step for me too. I've just made some simple models with Tinkercad.

 

I've had a CR-10s for about a month and love it.
