Hi Tommy,

I was recently trying to list my top 10 Intellivision games from the original 125.  What a hard task to accomplish!

 

Anyway, it got me to thinking about the original 2 player games I don't play anymore   and wish I could more easily.

 

I know you want to establish the Amico as it's own entity and at some point release some classic Intellivision games or packs.

 

First, does the Amico allow for wan play?  I think I remember that it doesn't as it is Coach play with the family.

If it does, can the original Intellivision games take advantage of this?  Playing MLB with my brother would be a blast. Hard to do these days.  I see him 1 or 2 times a year

 

Next,  This is a BIG ask.  But I think a good idea ( certain I'll hear if it is or isn't LOL )

Can you sell the "Classic Game Set"  This would include the Intellivision Library ( what you have rights to release )  and 2 Classic Controllers.  Complete with domed buttons?

I was never an overly user. It was all feel.  Kinda hated the Intellivision II controllers because not only did the domed keypad go away, the replacements were completely smooth....

 

I totally get the overlay though.  First few plays of a game like Space Battle or Utopia certainly needed them.  Even Now, If I were to play Bomb Squad I would need to at least look at it for a minute to remember.

 

I think the current controller with the overlay image is cool.  I like it a lot.  Without using it, I cannot picture the tactile feedback of it though.

So, a clear physical domed add on or something could work also.

 

But I think a retro looking controller in "classic" sets would be awesome.

So sorry to hear this.  Do whatever you can to stay safe.  

 

And don't underestimate this thing.  Wear the right PPE and stay sanitized.  We're getting an average of 2 Covid/Pandemic calls in our town a day.  It's nuts.

There are so many games from the Sega Saturn library that have been forgotten, that could be successful if they had an Amico refresh. Homie Zendocon brought up Christmas NiGHTS in another thread (

Well Tommy, here is another game request.  It's the last one forever.  I promise.  😉

I never heard of this one before.  It looks like fun.  I know Shinobi was mentioned as a possible game idea.  It would be nice to get some kind of ninja style game on Amico.  This one is from Namco.

Hoping the video tomorrow includes a Mattel update. Mostly because my son got a boatload of Hot Wheels for Christmas and he also got Hot Wheels ID 😂. It would be interesting if these interact with the console somehow....but without the micro transactions in the mobile app.

Happy New Year everybody. If we make it to April and the Amico makes its launch date, 2021 will already be shaping up to be a better year. If we're all dead from who knows what before then, well... Tommy can brag about how awesome the thing was going to be in the after life. "Yeah man, the thing was gonna make coffee, you could iron your jeans with it, the remotes detected aliens,.."

Towards the bottom of the list they mention Amico.  In the article they say Amico is coming next May.  That's a typo, should be April.
