+justclaws #27776 Posted February 16 I happened to find this video, and it looks a lot of fun for Amico family demographic, but it's not multi-player. I wonder though if some of the games could also move over? I think it's the same target demographic, but lacking the multi-player modes of Amico. I think reviews of Amico games by kids would be better than retro-gamers, sorry. [removed a YouTube video re: LeapTV console] I read similar criticisms, and some similar inspirations. (I almost want one, ha ha!) I think it proves there is a market though for a better such education system now. [removed a YouTube review of LeapTV console] In the review, the reviewer talked about "badges" for achievements. I was actually thinking, as he talked, of Finnegan Fox, and Tommy saying "Badger, Badger". Ha!
Silverbot #27777 Posted February 16 Hi Tommy, Will Breakout have a mode on it like classic were you just have to clear all the bricks to progress to the next stage? As I noticed this mode is called Voyage, makes me think the will be a vertical classic mode. 👍😀

Already provided the suggestion and developer info to Tommy, said he would look into it. @Tommy Tallarico, any news on this suggestion? https://toucharcade.com/2008/12/25/a-look-at-cave-flyer-retro-from-big-head-games/

Also, any chance you are teaming with Big Head Games out of the UK? They did a real great lunar lander type game called Retro Cave Flier (now called Retro-X) that had great polish, but they never put it back on the ios app store after Apple went to 64 bit; at least in the US (looks like it’s still available in the UK). Was a great game with lots of attention put in to it and played as good as it looks. Especially loved how the landing struts deployed when landing. Here’s a link should you be interested - http://www.bigheadgames.co.uk/game/retro-x/ Take care and as always, thanks for all you and your team continue to do! Above is a direct link to a video

Did you watch the video of ThrustLander? It is a modern game, but just has a old school mode. 👍😀

Getting close to the idea I brought up yesterday. If baseball cards had an RFID so that you could tap the Amico to get the game and the player on the card in the game . . .

Ideally, if IE ends up making something like this, that they combine the rescue aspect of Retro-X with the fighting aspect of whats in the video you provided the link to. I’m bumbed Retro-X is no longer available in the US on IOS 😫. The motion control play mechanics were spot on.

Intellivision Master #27789 Posted February 16 Tommy, Not sure if this has been asked before. Will there be a light/dark theme option on the Amico home screen? The Switch has it. Would be neat if the Amico offered this option.

Battlefish #27791 Posted February 16 Found this fun 2.5D platformer called Angel in Danger, and had a pretty good time with it. A person by the name of Sakis25 developed it back in 2017: https://sakis25.itch.io/angel-in-danger-3d I think this could be the basis of a cool Amico game; at the very least, the engine and gameplay!

This looks neat. Reminds me a little bit of Super Mario 64. It would be interesting if this game does come over to Amico.

Maybe not a full-on theming system, though; those resources are probably best put elsewhere.
NTV #27797 Posted February 17 8 hours ago, mr_me said: I've played quite a bit of pong and never thought to have a preference of taking the paddle on the right side of the TV or the left side. In the squash variant both paddles were on the right hitting to the left, however. Just realized why I would prefer the paddles on the right side. Been playing Breakout on my pc sitting close to the monitor controlling the paddles with my right hand on the mouse and the paddles are on the left. This does not feel natural to me. I might not feel this way using an Amico controller.
skylinesandsunsets #27798 Posted February 17 (edited) Hi Tommy, Recently I bought something on Radio Shack (yep, they're still in business) called "InventrKits Adventure Kit: 30 Days Lost in Space." I've always wanted to learn coding and circuitry, this item makes it into a fun activity, so with that I justified my impulse purchase. https://www.radioshack.com/products/inventrkits-adventure-kit-30-days-lost-in-space If something like this were offered on the Amico, I'd set my budget conscious aside (again) & buy it for my founder edition.
