LePionnier #3101 Posted November 27, 2019 Hi ! I don't remember if it was already asked, but can we expect games like VENTURE, LADY BUG and/or MOUSE TRAP to drop by on AMICO at launch ? (Or not too far) Thank you.
mr_me #3102 Posted November 27, 2019 (edited) Don't think any of those games have been mentioned. Venture and Mouse Trap were Exidy games and Lady Bug was Universal. The guy that owned the exidy games had passed away a few years ago, not sure if the new owner is interested in licensing. Trademarks might be up for grabs. There is still a japanese company called Universal I believe. Have these arcade games ever shown up in a compilation. If you are asking about the intellivision version of these games, someone might have to track down the current owner of those coleco properties. MantaNZ #3103 Posted November 28, 2019 Sorry if this has been mentioned but will the original games be available with the remakes? Be cool to be able to experience both. Pretty sure the Intellivision never made it to NZ. At least, I never saw one. Hell, even the 2600 wasn't super common as most families opted for the cheaper (and crappier) Fountain Force 2. IIRC, SNK's old parent company owns all the Universal games. SNK was shut down by them, then divested SNK later with the original SNK President buying SNK back (along with Alpha Denshi and Nazca... two of the bigger Neo Geo game design houses from the 90s). Now, SNK is in partnership with a Korean company, who is making their new consumer products.
IMBerzerk #3105 Posted November 28, 2019 I remembered this fun game from the C64 days... Would be a great one for the kids and I'd bet with what the Amico can do, fantastic sound and graphics. Challenging, simple and fun. Ducks Ahoy!

IntelliMission #3113 Posted November 29, 2019 (edited) As part of my job, I have corrected some Spanish subtitles on an awesome couch co-op game I absolutely didn't know anything about: Moving Out. It's like a family friendly, multi-player, indoor version of Death Stranding! It's actually a furniture move simulator. In the couch-coop mode, each person has to carry one side of an armchair or table! It looks quite fun and it surely is very original. It will come out in 2020 for every single (big) platform and I hope the Amico gets an exclusive version with added features and a different name... This game would be perfect for the console. Tempest 2000 and Tempest 4000 are incredible. Can’t say I’ve ever played 3000 as I’ve never even seen a Nuon... but no, he makes other games too, haha.
+Tommy Tallarico #3120 Posted December 1, 2019 Yo Everyone... just a heads up... We have a big press release coming out on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd. on our 40th Anniversary (the first Intellivision hit store shelves on Dec. 3, 1979). In it we list a ton of developers, have a short interactive Augmented Reality demo of one of our launch games (Moon Patrol) that you'll be able to play on your mobile devices, show never before seen screenshots of one of the pack-in games, showing pics of the final controller and console design and doing a short video about the controller. (Not bad considering we will still be over 10 months from our 10/10 2020 launch date... right? ) If you want more info please feel free to sign up to our mailing list at IntellivisionAmico.com. I think some folks in here will appreciate one of the opening lines from our press release on Tuesday. I had to take a little dig at our friends over at Atari (they make it easy). It's been said that "no news is good news". Intellivision has a different perspective and believes that "more news is great news!". If you're not familiar with what I'm referring to... check out the latest Atari VCS "Q&A" they released on Friday. Just thought I'd have a little fun with the folks who are paying attention.

MarioMan88 #3123 Posted December 1, 2019 Glad I got my IntelliShirt to check out the AR and demo! Moon Patrol was one of my favorite arcade games...will be neat to see how it’s reimagined. Nice surprise to be able to see the final controller and console design. Tommy and team take transparency to a new level. To the beleaguered folks who backed the VCS/Ataribox I feel bad because it’s clearly the people in charge who are hiding things and release statements where “no news is good news concerning the Atari VCS” 🤨

MantaNZ #3125 Posted December 1, 2019 Can't wait for this release. I LOVE Moon Patrol. I still remember being in an arcade when I was a kid and seeing it and my mum wouldn't give me 20c to play it. A passerby even said "give the boy 20c", lol. I was so gutted I never got to play it... maybe why I love playing it to this day.
