I have an FE and wasn't planning on getting a VIP, but you just convinced me on the controllers angle. Household of 4 and now I don't have to worry about tracking down extra ones and I'll hook up the spare in my office for "work time" 🙂 You're a bad influence, Vongruetz! Per @vongruetz excellent logic, if you were eventually going to get 4 total controllers, a 2nd system isn't that expensive if we assume the controllers are at least $30 each. $60 in controllers plus $25 gift card is decent 'discount' off the system price. Lol For me the rationalization was that you get four controllers, two consoles, $75 in credit, and a more autographed lenticular stuff than you can shake a stick at. Plus, the FE console will be hand signed by Tommy, and are you really going to want the kids messing around with that one? No, of course not.
