The "hard questions" thing is a mystery to me, too.  I think there's a perception that, for an interview to be "good," the interviewer must at some point shout down the interviewee and jump down their throat and harangue them over something, or else it's just a softball interview or an "infomercial."  But there has to be a reason for them to do that, and I can't imagine what that reason would be when it comes to the Amico.  What "hard questions" are there at this point that haven't already been addressed, usually multiple times, both here and elsewhere?  Should these interviewers behave like hard-hitting attack dogs all the time just because they're "supposed" to?  That seems so phony to me.

 

My impression is that the people who shout the loudest about being "allowed" to "express their opinions" or "ask the hard questions"—like some of the troublemakers we've had here—are often the ones who have the least to say when they're finally given the opportunity to "put up or shut up."  I think they just enjoy being disagreeable because they somehow equate that with being "independent," but again, it's all a phony affectation.  They're ultimately not interested in hearing the answers to their "hard questions," because if those questions were to be answered satisfactorily, they might not have a motivation to be so disagreeable anymore ... until they find some other "hard questions" to latch onto.

Yeah... it's kinda funny when I do 3 or 4 hour live streams with tons of haters throwing questions and me answering every one.  Still waiting for the "stumper" though. 



And love your last paragraph also.  So funny how those folks have zero self-awareness.  Not sure if it's a maturity thing or an ego thing... either way... it's a mental thing.

It's funny... if you read some of the comments I'm called both a SJW and a Trump apologist.  I didn't think it was possible to be both of those at the same time.

The funny part about this is in the last ridiculous Pat & Ian video they said that we don't have a prototype so we wouldn't be able to crowdfund it on Kickstarter.  We've literally been showing the prototypes since last E3, have done multiple videos, explained all the game footage that was running on them, they make fun of other YouTubers like SmashTV who have played the prototype... and (the best) is that I've told them multiple times on YouTube & Twitter since last year that they are invited to come and play the prototype.

So you tell me.... are they dumb, lazy or lying on purpose?  I believe it's a combo of the last 2.

Other thing I wanted to weigh in on was the idea of the 32GB onboard. Honestly i'm a fan of that as well. I'm glad you asked the chat for their input...nobody else would do this! Personally, I think, this can give the system some wiggle room. If all games are held on the drive as physical media installs itself there anyways. If most games are between 500MB and 1GB...that might be a "for now" kind of thing. I would hate to see over time the system get hemmed in by yet unmade advancements in the field.  I don't know technically at all here but i do know as a guy who installs a lot of games that if Amico gets a version of ORI and the blind forest that currently that game is 7.5GB and the definitive edition is a bit over 10GB. Selling to casuals who might not be familiar with memory management the way some of us hardcore are...well i wouldn't want to see them manage the system badly and then blame the system. I know it won't be missed either way by most Amico customers but i';m going to get every game for this thing so i'm the guy that is going to stick a 128GB in there and as history is my teacher...that somehow won't be enough  

 

BTW can it take a 128GB microSD?

In regards to the phones as controllers.  They work great for party games.  I wouldn't recommend them for action games though... although the button attachments do make them a LOT more playable.  Especially games like Skiing, Shark! Shark! and even Night Stalker!  @nurmix will confirm!
